Scotland Set to Appoint Pocognoli as Manager in New Direction

The Scottish Football Association is reportedly poised to name Sébastien Pocognoli as the new manager of the national team, marking a significant shift in their approach. The 39-year-old Belgian, who was dismissed by Monaco earlier this year, would be the first non-Scottish manager since Berti Vogts held the position from 2002 to 2004. Pocognoli’s appointment comes in the wake of Steve Clarke’s departure, which followed Scotland's disappointing exit from the World Cup at the group stage.
